I love traveling and seeing new things and I love seeing places that are historic also. The Grand Central Terminal is something you have to see in person to really take in how impressive it is. If you come to New York City and don’t visit this landmark, you are doing something wrong! I wanted to get an image of the main open space from the ground level looking at the center ticket both with the blur of people all around it. As soon as I set up my tripod, a security guard came up to me within 30 secs and promptly told me that tripods are not allowed unless I had a pass. I still wanted to have my image of the grand central terminal so I looked around for something I could place my camera on. Up on the stairs on the Apple store side I found a short pony wall that I could use. I took my 3 bracketed images for my HDR image which I had in mind, and then I just sat back and took in this impressive building. This image of the Grand Central Terminal was taken on a Nikon D7000 and a Sigma 15-30 lens.
